Purpose:
To support community led events and festivals that attract substantial local participation and are of high social and/or cultural benefit.
Amount & co- contributions:
Maximum grant amount: $25,000
Council contribution: Maximum 80% of project cost
Applicant contribution: Minimum 20% of project cost
Priorities:
- Attract substantial local participation (more than 1,000 people).
- Provide significant social and/or cultural benefit.
- Activate community spaces and facilities.
Category Specific Eligible Expenses:
- Event Coordinator fees related to the event.
Land Owners Consent:
For events on Council owned or controlled land applicants must make an application for use of Council’s Public Spaces prior to progressing their application.
